R and C Characters
Hello. These are the basic characters of R and C.
Ratchet:
He's the main character of Ratchet and Clank (duh!). He's a lombax, and he's also an unemployed rocket mechanic. He enjoys mashing triggers on guns twice the size he is, hoverboarding, and playing video games. In the first game, he's 15 years old in human years. In the second game, he's about 17-18 years old. In the third game, he's about 19-20 years old. He is one of the only lombaxes in the R and C Storyline. He's saved both the Selana Galaxy and the Bogon Galaxy.
Clank:
He's the other main character of Ratchet and Clank (duh again!). He's a result of a robot making machine malfunction. He speaks very robotically, and does not use contractions when speaking (like instead of saying "I'm", he would say "I am"). I don't particularly know what he enjoys, but it probably includes computers. He's 0 years old in the first game, 2-3 years old in the second game, and about 4-6 years old in the third game.
Captain Quark:
The "Galaxy's Greatest Superhero". He's not really a hero. He's a wimp and a sissy coward in a green suit. The only thing that the word "quark" has to do with him is the the size of his brain. A lot of people used to look up to him, but after Ratchet and Clank saved the galaxy right from under his nose, he decreased in popularity. Another thing that may have caused his downfall was the fact that he was working with Chairman Drek, who was trying to destroy Ratchet's home planet.
Chairman Drek:
He's the supervillan in the first game. His "evil plan" isn't particularly evil, except for the fact that after Ratchet and Clank started interfering with his plan, he started giving orders to "destroy everything that moves...and everything that doesn't move". He also went crazy after about 2/3rds through the game and had to be stopped before his craziness led to his blowing up the entire galaxy.
Abercrombie Fizzwidget:
He's the one who informs Ratchet and Clank that they have 2 weeks to train to become MegaCorp Commandos. He's also impersonated by Captain Quark throughout the entire game. When you're about halfway through the game, it's apparent that the Abercrombie Fizzwidget that Ratchet is being given missions by is not the real Mr. Fizzwidget.
Angela Cross/ The Thief:
Angela Cross is the only other lombax character in the entire series of games so far. She was not born on the same planet as Ratchet. She was born on planet Frosca, where the gravity is lower. That is why she is always so clumsy, and taller than Ratchet. She made her alter ego, "The Thief", just to steal the experiment.
Thugs-4-Less:
Thugs-4-Less is a company that people hire thugs from. They're basically the evil people, but not particularly until Ratchet starts interfering with their plans.
The Galactic Rangers:
The Galactic Rangers are an army of whimsical robots that aid Ratchet in UYA. They aren't particularly strong, but they certainly help. They give ratchet his first two UYA weapons.
Sasha:
Sasha is the president's daughter, and the captain of the starship Phoenix. From what I've seen, I think she has a crush on Ratchet, and Vice Versa. She has a very stiff upper lip, and doesn't look very laid-back most of the time.
The Galactic President:
The Galactic President doesn't really have a name in the game other than "Mr. President". He's a big fan of Clanks HV show, "Secret Agent Clank". He thinks that all the stunts are real, and thinks that Ratchet's just the bumbling chauffeur. As you can see, he's got it all wrong. Ratchet has saved the galaxy 2 times, and Clank's done nothing but aid him.
Dr. Nefarious:
An insane robot obsessed with completely obliterating all organic life forms. Also the supervillan in UYA. Need I say more?
Lawrence:
Dr. Nefarious's lawyer/servant. He has a brittish accent, and a tendency to be very shy.
